Hollywood Celebs Love Saree

Saree is a traditional Indian female clothing, which is beautiful and ethnic. We've seen a lot of Bollywood actress look beautiful in this dress. This fashion trend also spreading to Hollywood celebs too, many of them are choose Saree to wear in a formal event.

Now, which celebrity loves use Saree often? I guess the answer is Elizabeth Hurley. This is not a big surprise considering she is married to an Indian businessman, Arun Nayar. Below are some pics of Liz Hurley in Saree:

Often wearing Saree doesn't mean she know how to wears it right! Last week in London, the Naked Heart Foundation hosted the Love Ball, and I think Elizabeth Hurley decided to take the "naked" part literally, because she wore a see-through sari dress. Yup, we can see one part of her breast pretty clearly there!

Pussycat Dolls






The top American R&B female group Pussycat Dolls teamed up with the top Bollywood designer RockyS and walked the red carpet wore Saree to help raise money for Stand Up To Cancer, a program established by the Entertainment Industry Foundation to raise money for cancer research. This event happened on September 2008.

The first three pictures show Anna Kournikova when she attends an exhibition tennis tournament, I wasn't sure but I think it was in Dubai. There are several others female tennis player who also wore saree, but they didn't look as gorgeous as Kournikova. While the last pic shows Anna Kournikova wears the traditional Gaghra Choli for the Omega Watch company photocall.

Ashley Judd is a global ambassador for Youth AIDS, a worldwide HIV/AIDS education and prevention effort. She wore saree at the Youth AIDS Benefit Gala on November 2007 at the Ritz Carlton in Mclean, Virginia.

Catherine Zeta Jones Charity Golf

Few celebrities has done a remarkable charity works, and even fewer done a regular sports for their own health. But how about done both of them in the same time? To named one celebrity that did that, let's say Catherine Zeta Jones.

Well, she's not a super woman like Teri Hatcher that managed to finished a charity triathlon in the age of 43, Zeta Jones choice of sport would be golf. In other words, if Teri Hatcher have a more macho and sexy approach, Zeta Jones would be what we called classy style.



And while doing golf, she never forgot about her homeland, Wales. One way to justified that was by doing a charity work with her husband, Michael Douglas, to donate to a children hospital in Cardiff. She held a golf tournament in the city of Newport, and also have her golf shoes for auction. The purpose was to raised £300,000 for this hospital that built in 2005.


The golf tournament was televised on Sky One and Zeta Jones apparently had pre-match nerves. She is reported as saying "It's such an unpredictable game – I'm just praying to the golf gods". Viewers may have tuned in for the golf, but many more undoubtedly tuned in to see the goddess in ladies golf shoes doing her stuff.

Angelina Jolie Not Into Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! Most of the people in the world will be celebrating Valentine's Day on this February 14, 2010, including celebrities. But, one famous celeb that usually didn't celebrate it was Angelina Jolie. Usually? Yes, she seems to broke her rule when she bought a $25,000 olive tree as a Valentine's gift for her husband, Brad Pitt.

Angelina Jolie is not a fan of Valentine's Day. “She hates it,” said one insider. “Ange has always found all the hearts and flowers such bad taste and anything but romantic. Brad on the other hand is a sucker for all that stuff but he’s under strict orders not to bother." The “Wanted” actress absolutely hates all the ‘lovey-dovey’ stuff that comes with the February 14th holiday.



She always found hearts, flowers and chocolates a bad taste and anything but romantic. Angelina Jolie said that love cannot be defined by any one day. It is eternal and can not be showy.




Surprisingly, this year she wants to give something special to Brad Pitt to celebrate Valentine's Day. Maybe the rumor was true, her marriage has been in jeopardy, and now she's trying to fix it. The couple denied all news about their separation when they appeared together in Superbowl final in Florida last week, with their son, Maddox.

While about the gift, the actress - who raises six children with Pitt - will surprise him on the romantic day with the 200-year-old plant, for their French home, the Chateau Miraval. Olive trees symbolize peace, longevity and stability.
